Attitude

PREPARE YOUR EYES TO READ AND YOUR HEART TO RECEIVE AS YOU TAKE IN THE WORDS THAT LOOK TO CHANGE LIVES, RENEW HEARTS, AND OPEN MINDS.

I smell something foul. I think it's your attitude!

Have you ever considered how your perspective shapes your attitude? We all know of people that can mentally and physically drain anyone they are around due to the negativity they push off to everyone else. They usually blame others, their childhood, their parents, the choice of friends, and whatever else it is to deflect the blame off of them. I know how I feel when I am around people like this, but I have never considered how they must feel to walk around with so much negative baggage.

Do they project that energy on others to alleviate some of their pain? Are they seeking help without asking for it? Are they using this to bring you into their world? Is it a barrier they place in front of themselves to exist? Maybe they have had these issues so long that they have become accustomed to having problems, so they find it hard to let go when presented with a solution. Their problems have become their security blanket.

Your attitude affects how you live your life, which shapes your perspective. A good attitude can bring life into your situation, while a poor attitude can bring destruction. The past events play a significant portion in your current life and your future outlook or perspective.

What would your life look like if you were not concerned with your past? How light would you feel if your shoulders were free from your heavy burdens? Would you have a different perspective if you had someone to talk to that you trusted? Have you considered that your attitude could be the culprit to your view? All possible questions that look to help change your perspective.

Take the time to create or revisit your self core values. These core values are traits or qualities that you deeply believe in and the driving force to your existence and the beliefs that you hold. These values help you know what stimulates and satisfies you and what offends and debilitates you and your progression. None of us are perfect; we won't always smile on our faces, nor will we have good days, but we all choose how we handle situations. Don't let external circumstances and situations dictate your feelings, behavior, and mindset. Stop believing what others say and start speaking with boldness in your life.

We all have a purpose and reason for our own individual lives. You are here for a reason and with destiny. If you want something bad enough, you need to be willing to go and fight for it. Don't allow a negative attitude to derail your future. If you don't have peace within yourself, I pray that you will release the negativity, self-doubt, self-sabotaging, and mediocrity mindset to allow you to change your perspective, build self-esteem, and live life and live it more; abundantly! #SPEAK2MYHEART

Sometimes you have to give up to go up!
